Dimapur, Jan. 26 (EMN): Nagaland on Wednesday reported 130 new Covid-19 cases, taking the state’s tally to 33948 and active tally to 828.
The department of Health and Family Welfare informed that Dimapur reported 96 cases, Kohima 18, Mokokchung 10, three in Kiphire and one each in Longleng, Mon and Wokha.
Meanwhile, the state also reported 62 recoveries during the same period. Dimapur reported 47 recoveries, 10 in Kohima, three in Peren and two in Mokokchung.
The death toll stands at 691 with no Covid deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
Out of the 828 active cases, 699 are asymptomatic, 155 mild, seven moderate on oxygen, three severe in ICU and four severe in ICU on ventilator.
India logged 2,85,914 new coronavirus infections on Wednesday taking the total tally of Covid-19 cases to 4,00,85,116, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The death toll climbed to 4,91,127 with 665 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
Meanwhile, the active cases decreased to 22,23,018, with 2,99,073 patients having recovered in the last 24 hours. The cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 3,73,70,971.
With the administration of more than 59 lakh (59,50,731) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s Covid-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 163.58 crore (1,63,58,44,536).
