Dimapur, Jan. 23 (EMN): Nagaland on Sunday reported 107 new Covid-29 cases, taking the state’s tally to 33585 and active tally to 685.
According to data from the department of Health and Family Welfare, Dimapur reported 83 new cases, Kohima 14 and Wokha 10 on Sunday.
The state also reported 54 recoveries in the last 24 hours -- 48 from Dimapur and six from Kohima.
The state’s cumulative recoveries also increased to 30,862.
The death toll stands at 689 with no Covid deaths in the last 24 hours..
Out 685 active cases in the state, 607 are asymptomatic, 72 mild, three moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and two in ICU on ventilator
India logged 3,33,533 new coronavirus infections on Sunday, taking the tally of Covid-19 cases to 3,92,37,264, according to data from the Union Health Ministry.
The active cases increased to 21,87,205, while the death toll climbed to 4,89,409 with 525 fresh fatalities, the data stated.
The active cases comprise 5.57% of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has decreased to 93.18%, the ministry said.
An increase of 73,840 cases has been recorded in the active Covid-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive has exceeded 161.92 crore.
