Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Abhijit Sinha, informed that all arrangements have been made for conducting the re-poll at polling station No. 31 in Riphyim Old III under Wokha district on April 25 as ordered by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO), Wokha, also informed that sufficient security would be provided and all the necessary arrangements would be available to ensure that the poll is conducted in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
The CEO mentioned that Armstrong Pame has been deployed by the Commission as the general observer for the re-poll. The CEO stated that the scrutiny of poll related documents for the polling station, which is going for re-poll, would be taken up on April 26 at 11 am in the office of the RO and Commissioner, Nagaland.
