India celebrates Teachers’ Day on September 5 every year, which is also the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a celebrated teacher, philosopher, educationist and humanist. Along with the rest of the country, Nagaland too celebrated the state-level Teachers’ Day at Capital Convention Centre, Kohima on Monday. On the occasion, 20 teachers have been presented the State Level Teachers Award of both Private and Govt. schools. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio felicitated the 50 top rank holders of HSLC 2021 and 2022 examination under the Chief Minister Meritorious Scholarship Fellowship.
