DIMAPUR: Managing Director of Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (NHHDC Ltd.), Dimapur, Vitsutho Nyuthe on Friday inaugurated the two-week ‘State Handloom Expo’ here at Urban Haat.
The exhibition is organised by NHHDC Ltd. and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]All together 60 participants from Assam, Manipur and various districts of Nagaland are taking part in the expo, exhibiting varieties of handloom-crafted products.
The main aim and objective of the exhibition is to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets and bring about linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner.
The expo also serves to provide marketing opportunities to handicraft artisans.
