In supersession to the Home department’s earlier notification the state government of Nagaland has notified fresh terms of reference for the mediator with effect from May 15.
According to the notification, the Convenor Tali Longkumer would receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 80,000 and the members namely Sachopra Vero and Bei-u Angami would receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 60,000 each.
The convenor and members would be provided with vehicles with a driver from the transport pool and POL and TA/DA would be admissible as per entitlement. TA/DA as per the entitlement of Class-I officers would be reimbursable for actual incurred during the sitting and for travels undertaken, on production of bills certified by the chairman.
All expenditure in respect of the Committee would be debitable to the Home Department, Civil Secretariat, under Demand No. 26, Head of Account No. 2052 (Non-Plan).
