Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit heartily welcome the intending candidates V Kashiho Sangtam of 59th assembly constituency Seyochung Sitimi and H Kehovi of 33rd Suruhoto who joined the party on Jan. 19 at Guwahati in the presence of Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home Kiren Rijiju, who is also the BJP election in-charge for Nagaland and state president, Visasolie Lhoungu. A press release from the party’s Media Cell informed.
The party has reminded that BJP has adopted a resolution in the state executive meeting held at Mokokchung earlier about, ‘an open door policy.’ The resolution is to welcome any new entrants to the party’s fold without any pre-condition, who is willing to work for development, peace and stability in line with the Centre under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Amit Shah, the press release updated.
“The party is of the view that shortly many significant development is to take place in the State in favour of the Party as the people knows that BJP is the only party that can deliver stability with a corruption-free Government and development with performance,” it stated.
