Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit delegation led by secretary organization, Ananta Mishra and BJP legislators consisting of Minister for Higher Technical and Higher Education Temjen Imna Along, advisor for Power Tovihoto Ayemi and host of party workers from called upon the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a recipient of Bharat Ratna and the first National BJP president on April 26 at his official residence in Delhi.
Interacting with Vajpayee, the officials thanked him for his contributions and concern shown towards the state during the first NDA- era. A press release from party’s media cell stated.
On behalf of the former prime minister, the adopted daughter of Vajpayee, Shrimati Namita Bhattacharjee is stated to have impressed upon the visiting delegation that the much awaited four- lane Dimapur-Kohima road which was announced in the first NDA-era be completed on time ‘at least during the life time of Vajpayeeji which will remain a mile stone achievement for the region.’
Mishra also said to have met Rammadhev, national BJP general secretary and Northeast political affairs in-charge.
