Dimapur, July 6 (EMN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland Unit led by its President Temjen Imna Along and Secretary Organising Ananta Mishra On june 5 launched “Saaf Niyat aur Sahi Vikas” programme in the state as directed by the Central.
A book containing 40 pages of Modi’s government achievements and schemes in the last four years of NDA rule in the country will be distributed to various renowned personnel and organisations in the state, a press release from the BJP media cell informed.
The party president and secretary org. met T C Sangtam retired Commissioner & Secretary Govt. of Nagaland in the launching programme and highlighted the achievements under the NDA regime of Modi. Likewise all the state BJP, district and mandal officials will carry out in the respective places in the following days, it stated.
In a letter received from national BJP president, Amit Shah has said that, “we are committed to raise standards of living of every section of society particularly the poor, the needy, the economically marginalised, the tribal, the youth, the farmer and the women so that every person feels proud to be a citizen of Bharat. Secondly, we wish to make Bharat a powerful and developed nation, providing leadership to the world.”
It was four years ago that the NDA government, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, took up the challenge of ensuring the overall development of the nation and committed to work towards a strong and prosperous country, the press release added.
On behalf of the state BJP, the president has thanked the Modi government for hiking paddy minimum support price (MSP) by INR 200 quintal for 2018-2019 crop year in the agriculture sector keeping in mind the welfare of the farmers in the country.
