The BJP State unit held its office bearers meeting on June 3and deliberated on the various party organizational matters.
Chaired by the President Dr. M. Chuba and attended by all the State office bearers and the presidents of the BJMM and BJYM as special invitees, the meeting held at Bambusa, Dimapur discussed in detail the party organizational and political developments till date.
The meeting also endorsed its congratulatory message to T.R. Zeliang, the new Chief Minister and wished him success to guide the State through the rest of the term and fulfill the promises of the DAN government in the footsteps of the outgoing Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, now the elected Nagaland Lok Sabha MP.
The state BJP unit also expressed gratitude to Neiphiu Rio, MP of having managed the DAN coalition government efficiently for more than a decade despite odds and smoothly transferring the reins of the State to the next incumbent without any hiccups in the process to ensure the continuity and further successes of the DAN coalition government.
The BJP Nagaland further thanked the people for its cooperation with the DAN government and for all round progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, the State BJP Unit Nagaland, president Dr M.Chuba Ao and all rank and file have expressed their heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of Max Zeliang, Peren BJP President, whose mother, w/o Late N.C Zeliang, one of the pioneer of BJP Nagaland passed away on June 3 at Dimapur.
The Party prayed that the Almighty God will give peace, comfort and solace to the family, and also lead the departed soul to rest in peace.
