Though there are many issues confronting the people today, Konyak however, said the most important issue now is the issue of ‘secularism and the corruptions’ and that the leaders must prove themselves to be a true Christians in faith and prove to the citizens that the leaders of the BJP are better Christians than the leaders from any other political parties.
‘No Naga citizen must be given a chance to condemn the leaders of our party and if we are better in all ways then in no way the people will reject our leadership be it here in the state or at the centre’ he added.
Emphasising on the need to elect a good leader, Konyak asserted that the mandal must find a suitable candidate and also keep the door open for the better, and that the intending candidates must support the party activities in all ways in promoting the party organisation.
He also asserted that it must be equipped to fight against the corruptions during the election towards clean election as advocated by NBCC to change the mindset and to bring about a distinctive change in the society for a better environment, peace and developments.
