Dimapur, Feb. 11 (EMN): The Nagaland unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has denounced what it stated was a fictitious report circulating on social media concerning its national leader Ram Madhav.
“The report purportedly written by News Joint, which seems to be another fake news agency or channel is devoid of any truth and written with malicious intent. Such spreading of false news is tantamount to not only character assassination but also poses grave risk of sparking off communal tension,” read a statement from the party on Sun.
It assured “prompt and fitting action against those behind spreading the fabricated news.”
