Stakeholders and landowners in Tuli, Mokokchung, hold a meeting to discuss the extension and widening of the Foothill Road project corridor.

DIMAPUR — A meeting regarding the Foothill Road project and the proposed extension of the road beyond the existing 10-metre Right of Way was held at the Dobashis Court in the Tuli sub-division, Mokokchung, on May 11.
The meeting was convened in pursuance of directives issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, according to a DIPR report.
It was attended by representatives of the Tuli Area Foothill Road Land Owners Association and village council chairmen and secretaries of Kangtsung, Kangtsungyimsen, Wameken, Wamekenyimsen, and Anaki, along with other stakeholders under the Tuli sub-division.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on matters pertaining to the ongoing Foothill Road project, particularly focusing on the proposal for the extension and widening of the road corridor beyond the existing 10-metre Right of Way.
Various concerns and suggestions from landowners and village representatives were also discussed to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
