The St Xavier’s School Kidima was established in 1979. The school was upgraded to Class VII and VIII standard vice versa. The first batch appeared High School Leaving Certificate Examination in 2007 with the performance cent percent passed in recent years scoring distinction in different subjects.
Kidima is in the Kezochazou Range which starts from Mao (Manipur) and ends at Kijükemetouma the longest range in Nagaland where road connects Chakhabama to Mao, Viswema to Zuketsa via Kidima at the Centric point Risonzade, N 25º 33` 35-75, E 94º 10` 71- 77 under the district of Kohima, Nagaland some 32 km away from state capital.
Reverend Father Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest cum Principal of St. Xavier’s School, Kidima being most students is from same village they do not have much competition spirit in studies. Muttathil cautioned for the students who does not raise question is very dangerous for learning -teaching process.
Principal opined students of St. Xavier’s School, Kidima when give little more afford in studies than it could get double fruit result. The good result for the school in HSLC would be the glory of the village in return, he said. Father Thomas said the present world scenario without competition could not able to survive. The St. Xavier’s School is an asset of Kidima village, Father added. The Parish Priest, Father Thomas Muttathil in his complimentary to the students of social behaviour has an essence of moral values.
A. Salomi, Headmistress of St. Xavier’s School, Kidima suggested students preparing for final year like Class X should not get involve by the society in social activities. Salomi to qualify cent percent, scored distinction as well ranking needs parents care with constant monitoring of their children in studies.

The competitive spirit is in need for better performance than the present result with obedient, motivation and family support, Salomi said.
The past pupil after completion of Master Degrees recalling 20/ 30 years ago St. Xavier’s School student’s life, said would like to start primary education one of this days.
