Dimapur, June 27 (EMN): St. Xavier College, Jalukie observed its 11th graduation day on June with SDO (R&B) Vemete Pusa as chief guest and SDO (civil) LankonsenTsanglo as guest of honour.
According to the press release, the college has conferred degree certificates to 55 students besides special awards to toppers, Outstanding Student Award and Smart Starter among the freshers.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest congratulated the successful candidates reminded the graduating students to be prepared for the challenges they are about to face and to put in more efforts to attain more success.
Quoting the words of Mark Zackerburg “ideas don’t come fully formed, they only become clear as one works on them. Therefore get started with what you have,” Pusa exhorted the students to grow with a vision and make a difference in the society.
Tsanglo also exhorted the students to ‘stand on and strive on’ in the midst of failure with positive character which will guide them to destination.
Principal of the college, Rev. Dr. Francis congratulated the graduating students and gave discourse on progress of the college striving for greater goals in the days to come.
