
Participants of the youth conference take part in a
candlelit procession in honour of the late Pontiff Pope Francis in Kiphire on
April 26.
- DIMAPUR — St. Peter’s Parish, Kiphire, held a
three-day youth conference themed ‘Rooted in faith, growing in love’, with 200
youths representing nine villages and towns on April 26.
- According to an update, the event was hosted by the Catholic
Youth Movement of St. Peter’s Church, Kiphire, under the leadership of Ziroba
Philip.
- It featured talks, praise and worship songs, a candlelit
procession in honour of the late Pontiff Pope Francis, adoration,
self-examination, reconciliation, Holy Eucharist, and a talents night.
- Rev. Fr. Thomas Toretkiu, an associate priest of St. John
Church, Kiusam town, was a resource person. His talks focused on the importance
of sacraments in life and the significance of healthy relationships.
- Others who spoke at the event were Rev. Fr. Philip Magh,
parish priest of St. Peter’s Parish, Kiphire, and RY Moses, an assistant
professor at Zisaji Presidency College.
