Dimapur, March 12 (EMN): The annual sports week of St. Mary’s School Kohima kicked off on March 11 with Lt Col Narendra Singh, 2nd in Command 3 (Naga Hill) Bn. Assam Rifles declaring the meet open.
In his inaugural speech, Singh congratulated St. Mary’s School Kohima for being the first school in Nagaland to implement digitisation process in all the areas of education system and for achieving the Digital India Award for education.
He reminded the students that education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people those who prepare for it today. Education is not for life, education is life itself. He further advised all the students and parents, by saying, “believe in yourselves and all that you are, know that there is something inside you, that is greater than any obstacle, and also remember that one small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you are put to test and you should not fall apart.”
The sports week will conclude on March 14.
