St. Joseph’s College student reported missing

Dimapur, Feb. 4: A student of St. Joseph’s College, in Kohima district, is reported missing after he and a friend reportedly went trekking into a mountain terrain contiguous to said college, on Saturday. Ameikuo Kruse, stated to be from Thakrejuma village, under Kohima district, and a friend reportedly went to a nearby mountain range to take photographs during the morning hours. According to the friend–unidentified at the time of reporting this incident– Kruse ‘disappeared suddenly.’ The disappearance is reported to have occurred around afternoon. About 300 youths from the Southern Angami Youth Organisation are reportedly combing through the area for the missing youth. According to information available with sources, the friend appeared dazed and had failed to locate the site where Kruse first went missing. It was only after repeated attempts that the location could be identified but there was no sight of the missing student, sources said. The search for Kruse will resume on Sunday, sources informed. People are suspecting that the youth might have fallen off a cliff. Also, some have expressed belief that the disappearance might be the work of supernatural forces.
