DIMAPUR — The
department of Management Studies at St. Joseph University, in collaboration
with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), organised a one-day
problem-solving and ideation workshop to enhance students' critical thinking,
creativity, and collaboration skills.
According to a press release issued by the university, the
workshop focused on equipping participants with effective techniques for
identifying problems and generating innovative solutions using techniques such
as brainstorming and SCAMPER.
The resource person for the event was Vanthunglo Murry,
assistant professor at Unity College and life coach.
The first session of the workshop introduced problem
identification through group activities and case studies, helping participants
learn to define and analyse problems effectively.
The second session focused on idea generation using
brainstorming and SCAMPER techniques, where participants collaborated to
propose innovative solutions and presented their ideas.
