
Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): St. John’s School in Diphupar 'B' held its first inter-house competition on 'Cooking without fire’ to exhibit their culinary skills on October 15.
An update from the school stated that children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable delicacies by all the houses. It informed that the items including juice, smoothie, Sinju and fruit salad were judged on its taste, its presentation and how the foods were displayed by Benazir Achumi, proprietor and founder of "Sprinkles b2" and the teachers of the school.
The main aim of the competition was to enhance the students in other co-curricular activities that would help them in any kind of prompt situation. It added that judges were overwhelmed by the efforts of the participants.
In a stiff competition, the first position was won by Yellow House, closely followed by Green House in the second position, Red House in the third position and Blue House in fourth position.
Report further stated that the event had not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision-making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest.
