Dimapur, Dec. 29: St. Francis Xavier’s Catholic Church, Kidima celebrated Christmas with Rev. Fr. Thomas Muttathil, Parish Priest of Kidima at Church premises.
Rev. Muttathil in his introductory note, said Jesus was the master and owner of all and prince of peace. He called upon the congregation to prepare to receive God with struggle and difficulties through courage, truth and peace.
Stating that children are a gift of God, Rev. Muttathil urged the parents to accompany their children during the occasions to encourage them to become a responsible person in the society.Holy mass, sprinkle of holy water to the believers, baptism and confessions were the highlight of the programme. Sister Medosenü Jacinta Thakro, Franciscan Sisters of Saint Mary of the Angels (FSMA) also delivered her farewell speech.
