On Saturday evening, the Season Star Club (SSC) of Ungma kicked off its year-long Golden Jubilee celebration with the popular Ao Gospel band Samaro rocking the jam-packed audience at Babu Tzübu Amphitheatre, Mokokchung.

arted with the tiny tots angelic voice of Yimsongkong youth ministry igniting the Christmas fever singing the “Super Duper Christmas” followed by Mejena T. Longkumer & Sister performing a duet for the crowd.
Earlier, the Chief guest Temjen Imna Along Longkumer, State BJP Executive, Co-Convener BJP Finance & Chairman of REM group said that people always look up to Ungma as the ner
ve center for everything and emphasising on that they should continue to be the fatherly figure in every sphere.
Saying that the youngsters hold the future of our people, he also called upon the youths of Ungma to look towards a future that everyone
aspires for. The chief guest also encouraged the Season Star Club of Ungma to be an all season star by conceiving a vision for the people of Ao’s in particular and Nagas in general as the club celebrates an achievement of fifty years of existences.
“If you want to be extraordinary do extraordinary things, if you want to achieve then do the possibility that only God can bring for you and our people,” he asserted.

The young political leader also advised the youths to start dreaming of their future not from tomorrow but from today. “Dare to dream the unachievable dreams,” said Along while challenging the youths to dream a common dream for the future of Nagas.
Also, Tatar Ungma Village Council, Imkumba, while paying tributes to the club’s pioneers for their holistic vision, lauded the present clubs members for kicking off their yearlong jubilee celebration in a grand manner. He also urged the club members to continue the legacy imprinted by their glorious leaders who had immensely contributed for the upliftment of the society.
Meanwhile, N. Sanen President of SSC highlighted the achievements

made by the clubs since its inception.
Mention may be made that, SSC formed in 1967 is going to celebrate its 50 years anniversary in 2017. The club is proactively contributing towards the welfare of the society. Some of the activities are Excellency Awards for merit students, charity contribution for old age persons in the village. The SSC cultural troupes have also participated and represented in many state and national programmes.
