DIMAPUR — The SQAY Martial Art Association of Nagaland has announced the re-appointment of Lepzungchiba Jamir as president and D Puchochiyi Gabriel Khamo as secretary by the SQAY Martial Art Federation recognised by the Ministry of Sports. Their new term will run from June 27, 2025, to June 27, 2026.
According to an update, both Jamir and Khamo were previously appointed on July 27, 2024, for a term of eight months, which concluded on March 27, 2025.

“During their tenure, the SQAY Martial Art Association of Nagaland achieved commendable success and brought pride to the state,” it read, adding that under the leadership of Jamir, Nagaland secured two bronze medals in the Senior Category at the prestigious 3rd SQAY Martial Art National Championship 2024–2025, held in Maharashtra from November 18 to the 20th in 2024. The medals were won by K Pushen (62 kg) and Khuming (66 kg).
Maintaining that the re-appointment of Jamir and Khamo reflects the federation's confidence in their leadership and commitment to the promotion and growth of SQAY Martial Art in Nagaland, the federation extended best wishes to both for another successful term ahead.
