DIMAPUR — The Sports Authority of India Sports Training Centre in Dimapur recently conducted a self-defence training session under the women empowerment programme in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources and Sports and the Dimapur District Pencak Silat Association.
According to an update, the training was held as part of the Fit India programme and witnessed the participation of around 120 attendees, along with staff and coaches.
The initiative aimed at promoting awareness of women empowerment, encouraging self-confidence, and highlighting the importance of physical fitness and self-defence among women.
