Special Olympics Bharat Nagaland representatives attend the National Youth Leadership Summit 2025 in Himachal Pradesh.

DIMAPUR — Special Olympics Bharat Nagaland participated at the National Youth Leadership Summit 2025 held at Pinegrove School, Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh, from December 17 to the 19th.
Nagaland was represented by Seli Tucker, mentor; Visano Chaya, special athlete leader from Cherry Blossom School, Kohima; and Akhriebu Peseyie, youth leader from G Rio Higher Secondary School, Kohima.
According to an update, the summit brought together youth leaders, athlete leaders and mentors from 26 states across the country.

Hosted by Special Olympics Bharat Himachal Pradesh, the summit focused on strengthening inclusive leadership, awareness and the role of unified communities, highlighting the transformative impact of sports in empowering persons with disabilities.
The delegates were further reinforced with the values and mission of the Special Olympics, fostering unity, confidence and inclusive growth.
Kalash Kaushal and the team from the national office of Special Olympics Bharat, Delhi, led sessions as resource persons, providing a platform for shared learning and leadership development.
The Special Olympics Nagaland family expressed gratitude to the school authorities and principals of Cherry Blossom School and G Rio Higher Secondary School, Kohima, for their support in promoting inclusive education and acceptance of diverse abilities.
