Special leave for Yimchungru tribe in Tuensang

EMN KOHIMA, MARCH 28 The general administration branch of the Home Department has notified today that in pursuance to the decision of the state cabinet, the Governor of Nagaland has granted ‘Special Leave’ to state government employees belonging to the Yimchungru tribe serving in various departments at Tuensang Headquarters. The special leave will be granted under the following conditions- that Special Leave for a period of 30 days with effect from the date of issue of this notification; During the period of the Special Leave, the employees will draw salary equal to the pay immediately drawn prior to sanction of the aforesaid leave, along with all allowances as admissible; The period of Special Leave will count as qualifying service for all purposes, including increments and pension; and the Special Leave will not be debited against the leave account of the employees.In connection with this, all the Head of Departments and the heads of offices at Tuensang district Head Quarter have been directed to take immediate and appropriate action as above.
