Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): Blyths Tragopan Conservation and Breeding Centre (BTCBC), Kohima, is all set to multiply breeding capacity of the endangered Blyths Tragopan birds with receipt of state-of-the-art incubator donated by the SpeakGuru Foundation.
SpeakGuru Foundation, an active NGO led by Kenei Koutsu which was founded since 2010 with a mission to help and conserve the flora and fauna, had generously contributed an incubator having the capacity of hatching 30 eggs at a time to the BTCBC for conservation and preservation of Blyth’s Tragopan and to enhance successful breeding.
The Officer in-charge of BTCBC, Keneikrul, has expressed appreciation and gratitude to the SpeakGuru Foundation. He mentioned that it has been the vital need of the Department for successful breeding of the bird. He also wished the SpeakGuru foundation to keep up the good work.
K Caroline Angami, Wildlife Warden, Dimapur, received the donated incubator from Alobo Naga, who had brought it all the way from Singapore.
