Kohima, Nov. 6 (EMN): Contributing to the hospitality sector in the state capital, a new getaway by the name of ‘Alder Retreat’ was formally launched open by Vikho Yoshu, Speaker Nagaland Legislative Assembly at Mewigobei, forest colony, near PCCF office.
In a solemn programme, Vikho-o Yhoshu said Nagaland is blessed with beautiful terrains and rich natural resources but however, people were rarely able to utilize these resources and turn them into places that are healthy and family friendly.
“We hardly have any parks, outdoor retreat venues where we can take our family, guests, and friends out to get away from the sometimes loud setting of our town” he said.
He also expressed his appreciation to the proprietor Kevi and Nini along with their children who have invested in the project and created something beautiful for the citizens of Kohima where they can connect with nature and also spend quality leisure time with family, friends and dear ones.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Ningukhoto Zetsuvi and a short story about the journey of the retreat was shared by it’s proprietor Keviyachu Liegise. A special song was presented by Pezet Newmai and vote of thanks was delivered by Zhapuvi Liegise, co-owner of Alder Retreat.
