
Campers and officials of Koinonia Baptist Church during
‘Soul Ignite IX camp’ at Koinonia Prayer Centre, Tsiesema Basa, on April 19.
- DIMAPUR — The
Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) has organised ‘Soul Ignite IX camp’ for the youth
and junior CYE members at Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC), Tsiesema Basa, from
April 16 to the 19 on the theme “…save some, by snatching them out of the
fire…” (Jude 1:23).
- A press release from Koinonia media ministry informed that
218 campers and 46 officials attended the camp. It stated that the campers
committed their lives to Jesus Christ and received blessings of healing,
deliverance and breakthrough.
- The speakers were Rev. Dr. Zotuo Kiewhuo, founder pastor of
KBC and principal of Kohima Bible College; Neibalie, pastor of KBC; Menuosielie
Üsou, assistant pastor; evangelists namely Ruokuotuo, Ketoukholie Semou and
Nyamongi Rong.

- Ketoukholie Semou was the camp director, while evangelists
Pelekhotuo Rüvieo and Ruokuoneizo Sanchu were the assistant camp directors.
Praise and worship were led by the Koinonia youth praise team.
- The campers were divided into four groups namely Daniel (God
has judged), Isaiah (Yahweh is salvation), Ezekiel (God will strengthen) and
Jeremiah (Yahweh exalts).
- Topics covered included ‘Sins and its consequences,’
‘Repentance and salvation,’ ‘Prayerful life of a youth,’ ‘Biblical concept on
culture,’ ‘Holy Spirit: baptism, fruit and gifts,’ ‘Present issues: tattoos and
music,’ ‘Win souls for Jesus Christ,’ ‘Deliverance: gaming, LGBTQ etc.,’
‘Immorality and purity,’ ‘Present yourself a blameless life,’ ‘Second coming of
Christ,’ and ‘Discipleship.’
- Meanwhile, the best camper awards were given to Kevisuto Ltu
and Akule Nuh from Ezekiel Group; Ruokuoneinuo Semou and Thashalo Kath from
Daniel Group; Hithono Yepthomi and Neitsetuonuo Kulnu from Jeremiah Group; and
Tol Sema and Ningthoujam from Isaiah Group.
