SON represents state at National Games

Dimapur, Aug. 8 (EMN): Special Olympics Nagaland (SON) represented the state at the National Games in Gujarat. SON in a press release stated that 29 members participated in the National Games under the Ministry of Youth affairs & Sports at Gandhinagar, Gujarat from July 5 to 9. Coach Imliwapang Jamir led the  special athletes from the districts of Kohima, Peren, Zunheboto, Mokokchung, Wokha, and Dimapur. The team won seven medals  in football and badminton-five gold medals by Aripong, Berimong, Aosanen Jamir, Joseph Jakha, and Suchamo; gold medal in badminton by Tumchobeni and silver medal in badminton by Kehesul Kin, added the press release.
