Social Welfare department convenes meeting with staff, Anganwadi workers of Zunheboto

DIMAPUR — The director and senior officers of Social Welfare department convened a co-ordination meeting with the staff and Anganwadi workers of Zunheboto district at Zunheboto town hall on November 22 and the 23rd.

Speaking at the event, Director of Social Welfare department, Toshili Zhimomi, encouraged the staff to be regular at office and work with sincerity for the welfare of the people, said an update from DPRO Zunheboto.

She told the employees to approach the directorate if any help is needed.

During the discussion session, which was also attended by Assistant Director Asangla and Deputy Director Imkongzenla, Zhimomi randomly asked some of the participants about their responsibilities.

Earlier in the programme, DWO, Y. Touhong Ngomjen delivered the welcome address and Nikuto Chishi.

On the second day of the meeting, induction training was conducted for untrained Anganwadi workers from eight projects under Zunheboto district, with officers from various projects as resource persons.  

A total of 158 Anganwadi workers, who attended the event, were trained, informed to the update.
