Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): Smile Train Cleft Shija Project under Mission Nagaland, in collaboration with Oking Hospital Kohima, has so far examined more than 600 cleft patients in Nagaland, claimed Dr. Kh Palin, a smile train surgeon from Shija Hospital group.
Informing that there would be about 3300 cleft patients in Nagaland,
According to press release, Dr. Palin assured to provide travelling allowance to patients coming from far off villages. He also said the treatment will be absolutely free including medicines, operation, and travelling allowance.
The doctors from Shija Group of Hospitals, Imphal, have successfully operated cleft lips and palate across Nagaland and one from Myanmar Naga, said Dr. Kh Palin.
Dr. Palin informed that the next free camp will be announced in the month of February 2018.
Patients suffering with cleft lips and palate in Nagaland availed free surgery during the 32nd Mission Nagaland held at Oking Hospital, Kohima from Nov. 15-17.
