Sümi Games and Sports Association inducts new office bearers for 2025–2027

DIMAPUR — The Sümi Games and Sports Association (SGSA) inducted a new team of office bearers for the 2025–2027 tenure at a programme held on Tuesday at Sümi Hoho Ki, Zunheboto.

The programme was chaired by Kikheto Muru, vice president of Sümi Hoho and convenor of the search committee, stated a press release issued by the media cell of Sümi Hoho.

Words of exhortation were delivered by Dr. Vihuto Asumi, president of Sümi Hoho, and Akükau Hetoho Zhimomi, president of Sümi Kükami Hoho. Agape Chishi, youth pastor of Sümi Baptist Church Zunheboto, gave a brief sharing and pronounced the prayer of blessings.

The event was attended by leaders and representatives from all Sümi frontal organisations, who conveyed their goodwill and support to the new SGSA team.

The newly inducted office bearers of SGSA are Iloka K Shohe – president; Aketovi Assumi – vice president; Xusheto Zhimomi – general secretary; Kazheto Yeptho – finance secretary; and others.

The Sümi Hoho has congratulated the newly inducted team of the SGSA and wished them a fruitful tenure in fostering the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and excellence among the Sümi and the wider Naga community.
