DIMAPUR — The Sendenyu Lojvü Students’ Union (SLSU) held its fifth felicitation programme for HSLC and HSSLC successful students on June 8 at the NGRC-1CU conference hall on Secretariat Road in Kohima.
The guest speaker for the event was Rukulü Thong, Assistant Commandant of the 4th NAP, Thizama, according to a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Thong highlighted that the journey of competition and self-improvement begins as early as when students complete their Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
She said that parents and teachers play a crucial role in this journey, noting that it is never too early for them to encourage and support students in pursuing their dreams and aspirations. According to her, parents and teachers serve as the primary pillars of support, providing the necessary foundation for students to achieve their goals.
She encouraged the students to maintain a well-planned routine that allows for effective time management and organisation. Staying focused on their objectives, remaining disciplined in their studies and activities, and practicing punctuality were highlighted as key elements for success.
Altogether, 50 successful candidates in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations of 2024 were felicitated on the occasion.
