SKK directs constituent units to undertake inspection of schools and offices

DIMAPUR — The All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) has directed all its constituent units to immediately initiate comprehensive inspection in all the educational institutions within their respective jurisdictions.
It has asked to complete the exercise within two months and submit the tabulated progressive report covering each institution to its office on or before the first week of June 2026 from the date of issuance of this notification.
It also asked to report instances of deficiencies, violations, negligence or administrative lapses identified during the course of inspections without exception or delay to its office for prompt and necessary action. It informed that failure to report such matters would be viewed with seriousness.
SKK also instructed all the constituent units to undertake strict monitoring and inspection of government offices under their respective jurisdictions and submit a detailed and comprehensive report to its office.

It stated that SKK would continue exercising its authority in monitoring high schools, higher secondary schools, colleges and universities under its jurisdiction. It also added that inspection of government offices would be conducted across Zunheboto district as per schedule.
It warned that any loophole, misconduct, dereliction of duty or systemic failures identified during the exercise would be immediately reported to the competent higher authorities for decisive action. It added that the union would not tolerate negligence and would remain firmly committed to enforcing accountability and institutional discipline.
Meanwhile, it has requested all the head of government schools to extend full cooperation and ensure that no obstruction, delay or non-compliance occur during inspection visits conducted by the respective student unions. It also requested all the head of department of government offices to cooperate with the officials during the inspection.
