Dimapur, April 7 (EMN): Career and skills counselling programme organised by Eimi Nexus in collaboration with Kuki Students' Organisation Nagaland (KSON) and powered by Jalukie batallion of the Assam Rifles concluded on April 6 at Christian School, Ahthibung town, in Peren district.
KSON media cell stated that more than hundred students and job seekers from Khelma, Bongkolong (Mongjang), Ahthibung town and Jalukie valley attended the programme.
A welcome speech was delivered by Paotinlam Guite, president of Eimi Nexus, while the invocation prayer was said by Rev. Lienthom Gangte, KCC Nagaland Synod. The resource person included representatives from YouthNet; Lamkhomang Singson, librarian from the department of Justice and Law; Henpu Kuki, from Ahthibung Region Club; Lalkholen Thomsong, LLB; Brendon Singson, B.Tech ECE; Hengkhogin Singsit, MSW; Abigial Sitlhou from Bake for You; and Nengneithem Hengna from Runway Nagaland.
The release stated that a presentation on preparation for entrance exam and other procedural information for NDA, CDS, engineering, law, social work, including other professional courses and scheme were shown during the programme. It added that students were made aware about the important information related to different entries and scheme as an officer in the Indian armed forces.
It stated that procedures from applications to service selection boards were explained to students during the programme. Besides, skills training on baking and handmade craft were also imparted to the youth during the programme.
Motivation and exhortation was delivered by Ruopfukuotuo Noudi, SDO (Civil), Ahthibung, the release added.
