
DIMAPUR — The second phase skill proficiency management for building and other construction workers was held at Chingmelen village community hall in Tuensang district on Friday.
The training was conducted under the initiative of Zynorique Initiative Society, stated a DIPR report.
Speaking during the session, the EAC of Tuensang, Mhathung Ngullie, motivated the trainees to use their creativity and skills to their advantage for economic self-sufficiency. He stated that Nagaland is in need of skill labour and added that this kind of training and support from the government would fill the gap of unemployment in the state.
Introduction to the training programme was delivered by Richard Belho, chairman of Zynorique Initiative Society, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Leongba, head GB of Chingmelen village.
