Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Photography Club of St. John College, Dimapur organised a one-day seminar on Photography with Tiras Mongzar, a professional and official photographer of Livingstone Foundation International School as the resource person on March 5.
An update from the institution informed that Prof. S T Janetius, the teacher in-charge of the club emphasised on the development of cameras, highlighted the different types of photos and displayed the sets and tools of a camera, a press release informed.
Mongzar said, “Owning a big or advanced camera is not photography” and stressed on the evolution of SLR to DSLR and the coming of digital to the photography world. Stating that ISO, aperture and shutter speed are the three important parts of a DSLR camera, he explained its functions.
'Pixel is important when it comes to DSLR because it will not break down the image or the quality’, he informed and illustrated it with examples.
Meanwhile, a group competition was held after the end of the session, which was followed by certification and valedictory programme.
