Dimapur, Feb. 4 (EMN): Nagaland’s Covid tally stands at 12121 with no positive case recorded on Thursday.
Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom informed that six positive cases had recovered on February 4; Mokokchung had three recovered patients, Kohima had two and one in Dimapur.
According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 63 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 55 are asymptomatic, five mild and three moderate on oxygen. The state has also recorded 11821 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.
In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 32 cases followed by Dimapur-28, Peren two and Tuensang one, while Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng, Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto have zero cases.
A total of 179 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Dimapur, Mokokchung, Wokha and Peren on Thursday, taking the total vaccinated tally to 6203 in the state. An update received from the directorate of Health and Family Welfare stated that 44 frontline workers other than healthcare workers had been vaccinated in Peren and Phek.
District wise Covid-19 vaccination so far is: Dimapur – 1183; Kohima – 1133; Mokokchung – 873; Mon – 558; Phek – 506; Zunheboto – 488; Wokha – 475; Peren – 396; Tuensang – 335; Longleng – 132 and Kiphire – 124.
It further stated that a total of 44, 49, 552 beneficiaries have been vaccinated across the country with the Covaxin and Covishield vaccines. It added that more than 108 million Covid-19 vaccine shots have been administered across the globe in 67 countries.
