Andrew Thong of Kohima, a Naga Idol finalist, released his debut album ‘For His Glory’ on Nov. 25 at D-Café in Kohima.
Proprietor of Symphony Academy of Music Melekhoto Pucho and Divine Connection frontman Obed Kath officially launched the said album at a brief function.
‘For His Glory’ has seven tracks, all of which speak about the artiste’s experiences as a young man in his walk with God. “It is difficult to bring inspiring words and good music together to make it a beautiful song and I applaud Andrew for beautifully doing this.......I can confidently and proudly say that this is one of the best gospel album by a Naga artist,” says Pucho.
For Kath, Thong’s music album is a well arranged, melodious and elemental songs with ‘matured lyrics’.
“It is a promising and soul searching album,” he added.
All the songs in ‘For His Glory’ are said to have been written and composed by Andrew Thong himself and were recorded at Clef Ensemble, Kohima.
The young artiste informed that his songs will be available at Indihut at www.indihutlive.com/andrew.
The music album in CDs are also available at D-Cafe (Jail Colony Kohima), Ozone Cafe (Razhü Point), Clef Ensemble and Dream Cafe (Ser’s Bazaar).
