Pink sweetly fat-shame haters
Singer Pink had a perfect reply for those who did not like curves. The 35-year-old singer and her husband, BMX rider Carey Hart, 39, posed for pictures on the red carpet at the John Wayne 30th Annual Odyssey Ball at Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel Saturday. Pink wore a black dress that featured a plunging neckline, but some took to online to raise concerns about her weight before she took to Internet with a sweet message. “I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight. You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr Maggie DiNome… But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful. So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me. I’m not worried about me. And I’m not worried about you either,” Pink continued. “I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy, voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off. Thanks for your concern,” she wrote.
Miley Cyrus warns Patrick Schwarzenegger
The 21-year-old actor invited the ‘We Can’t Stop’ hitmaker with him to the music festival but despite cheating allegations rocking the pair’s relationship, Miley says she wasn’t “interested” in attending the event alongside him. A source said: “Patrick asked Miley if she wanted to come with him, but she said she wasn’t interested. She’s putting her trust in him not to do anything silly or compromising while he’s there having a good time with his bros. “He realised what predicament he got himself into in Cabo, and now knows he’s got to be smarter about being in a high-profile relationship.” Meanwhile, the 22-year-old singer is believed to have been “punishing” her other half, after he was photographed getting close to his ex-girlfriend, by refusing to be intimate with him. Another insider added to HollywoodLife.com: “One thing she did to punish him was withhold sex from him. And Patrick has been working hard to win the star back, sending her roses and romantic e-mails.
Elizabeth Olsen bans social media
The ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ star refuses to use micro-blogging site Twitter or similar websites because she feels as though it is used to “control” people’s image. She said: “I don’t [use] social media, and I feel like that’s how people control their image. My image, in my mind, is just to disappear. I just want people to see the work that I’m proud of. “I feel like you let people touch you when you have Instagram or Twitter, and I don’t want to be touched all the time. I’m not going to do it - ever.” The 26-year-old actress would much rather make a connection to her fans through her work and has admitted she finds it “annoying” when people brand young people in a negative way. She added: “It is so annoying to me the way my generation is written about - that we are all entitled slackers and hackers.” Meanwhile, Elizabeth is looking forward to taking a starring role in the upcoming Marvel film and said she was drawn to the franchise by the fascinating nature of her character, Wanda Maximoff. She added to the May issue of Fashion magazine: “She’s grounded and centered because she’s always receiving information - she knows everyone’s everything because of her telekinesis. “She has access to the past, the present, the future and parallel universes - she can connect with all of them.”
