Shuttlers lift Mkg Interclub Badminton Championship

MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 29: The Shuttlers from Chuchuyimpang today lifted this year’s Mokokchung Interclub Badminton Championship after defeating Team Bendangsunep 4-3 in the final here at Indoor Badminton Stadium. In the U-13 Boys Singles, Team Bendangsunep won the 21-6, 21-10. In the U-17 Boys Singles, team Bendangsunep dominated the game and won the match by 21-8, 21-13. But in the Men’s Doubles the Shuttlers beat team Bendansunep by 21-17, 21-18 and equalized 2-2. In 35+ Men’s Doubles the Shuttlers beat team Bendansunep 19-21, 21-11, 21-18. However, the senior players from team Bendansunep easily won the next match 21-11, 21-18 and equalized the point to 3-3. In the deciding mixed doubles, Shuttlers came back to win the match 19-21, 21-13, 21-16 and win the tournament by 4-3.
