Actress Shubra Aiyappa marries Vishal Sivappa; here are wedding photos of the couple

Bengaluru, Jan. 20 (EMN): Multilingual actress Shubra Aiyappa has married Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Vishal Sivappa without much fanfare.
The happening actress announced the news of her marriage along with photos on her Instagram page.
Shubra Aiyappa said that they tied the knot in the presence of their family members.
Notably, they took the wedding vows at Vishal's 150-year-old ancestral home.
"Vishal and I got married in the presence of our loved ones in 'Doddamane'. This is his ancestral home of over 150 years. We felt the love of this joyous occasion in this magical place with our beautiful near and dear ones, [sic]" she wrote. Vishal also shared the wedding pics on his social media account.
In one of the wedding photos, Vishal is seen putting vermillion on Shubra's forehead. The happily married couple also shared other moments of their big day.

The actress looks beautiful in a saree with a matching blouse and ornaments, and the groom in a traditional costume.
Several celebrities including former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Swetha Chengappa, Shanvi Srivatsa, Shruti Prakash, Sruthi Hariharan, Pranitha Subash, Priyamani, Samyuktha Hegde, Rishi, filmmaker Simple Suni and KM Chaitanya have wished the newly-wedded couple.
The couple is flooded with congratulatory messages from heir fans, mostly from the southern states of India.
The couple had formally made their relationship public in January last year.
"I said yes to my panda❤️💍 @vishalsivappa," Shubra Aiyappa had earlier announced on Instagram.
She also spoke about their engagement, in an interview, later.
"I am still taking it all in. I cannot believe that we are engaged. Vishal went above and beyond to make it a magical moment that was so special, giving me no clue about what was in store. All I knew was that I was going to the Maldives for a trip. All I knew was that we had a dinner reservation. I wore my favourite outfit, thankfully. He had set up this place on a private beach with candles and a gazebo, where he went down on his knees and asked me if I would marry him. It was beautifully curated and it was an emotional moment for both of us," The Times of India had quoted her as saying.

Shubra Aiyappa revealed that they met through a common friend a few years ago before started dating.
"I am supremely excited and we are going to be in the Maldives for another day. Vishal and I met a few years ago at a friend's place. Both of us knew of each other and had expressed interest in the other. Eventually, a cousin introduced us properly and we began dating and here we are, ready to take our relationship to the next level," Shubra had said.

Who is Shubra Aiyappa?

Model-turned-actress, Shubra Aiyappa, forayed into acting with Telugu film 'Prathinidhi' directed by Prashanth Mandava. She played the female lead with Nara Rohit in the movie.
She was also part of Tamil movie 'Sagaptham', the launchpad of Shanmuga Pandian, son of actor-politician Vijayakanth.
The actress went on to act in Shivaraj Kumar's Kannada film 'Vajrakaya' and Diganth's 'Thimayya & Thimayya'.
