Mokokchung, August 31 (EMN): Lady Bird School under the aegis of Nagaland Rifles Association organised a Shooting Camp cum first Shooting Championship at the school’s newly inaugurated indoor shooting range from August 28 to 31.
The art of shooting camp based on age groups starting from 7 years to 16 years and above exclusively for the school students under the guidance of President of Nagaland Rifle Association, Merang Jamir and his colleagues from Nagaland Rifle Association on Air rifles and pistol. Merang Jamir in his coaching cum competition remarks stated that they are many innate talents among the students who have the caliber to compete in state and national events. More than 130 students participated in the Shooting Camp cum first Shooting Championship. The winners in the competitions were given medals during the culmination programme today.
