Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): The Shamator Area GB’s Union (SAGU) made a strong appeal to ‘the competent authority’ for early and prompt intervention in ‘posting of an administrative officer under Shamator Sub- Division’.
A press release issued by the SAGU Executive Chairman, Wongtsukiu and President J Kuimukam, while making the appeal, stated that the appeal is being made in the interest of the public of the area. The SAGU disclosed that the ‘public has been neglected owing to the absence of ADC since the middle part of May 2018’.
The SAGU pointed out that Shamator, “being one of the oldest Sub- divisions of the state and located in the remote eastern part of Nagaland is faced with multiple law and order issues which demands crucial attention at times”.
“Therefore, the undersigned on behalf of the general public once again, urge upon the government to post an administrative officer and revive the normal functioning of the office for smooth delivery of public services,” the SAGU stated.
