- DIMAPUR — The
10th anniversary of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) was observed at the cultural
hall in Shamator town on January 22, organised by the District Hub for the
Empowerment of Women (DHEW), Shamator, in collaboration with the district
administration.
- According to a DIPR report, Deputy Commissioner of Shamator
and chairperson of DLC Mission Shakti, Chuba Temjen, delivered a speech on the
occasion as well as led the oath-taking ceremony.
- Also, an inter-ward (female) singing competition on the
theme "Aliberu mongshi khun" was organised to commemorate the
occasion.
