Dimapur, June 18 (EMN): St. Francis de Sales (SFS) has observed Fathers’ Day on June 17 with Rev. Fr. Richard Fernandes, parish priest of St. Francis de Sales (SFS), Kohima town, as the speaker.
In his homily, Rev. Fr. Richard urged the believers to pray particularly for the fathers on the occasion. Rev. Fr. Richard, while conveying his greetings to the fathers on the occasion of Father’s Day, to appealed the congregation to pray for the fathers so that they may set true examples to their family and children so that the family may grow in God’s love.
“Pray particularly for the fathers on this occasion that they may be blessed by God in the family with right direction, so that they may take care of their family,” he said.
Medolenuo Ambrocia delivered a heartfelt Father’s Day message, followed with a moment of silence in memory of the deceased ones. A special song was presented by ACYA choir.
