Seyochung area students hold annual session

Kohima, Jan. 5 (EMN): Seyochung Area Students’ Union (SASU) held its 28^th Uba session on January 5 in Thsingar village with Kyupise Sangtam, convenor of BJP Traders Cell and president of All Nagaland Solar Contractors’ Union (ANSCU), as the chief guest.

In his speech, the chief guest stated that education is about all round development saying, "It is not only how we perceive it in quantity but it is based on quality." He encouraged the students to strive with determination and faith to achieve their goal.

He also advised the students to avoid indulging in intoxicated substances and cautioned against addicted to social media.

He also expounded on the roles of parents to support the dreams of their children, mould and promote according to their potentials and interest and guide them to achieve their desired goal.

Kyupise Sangtam also reminded the gathering that success and victory are not only about getting through in NPSC or UPSC exams adding there are different fields and areas where one could excel and bring glory to the community. In order to make that happen, he advised the students to get out of their comfort zones push themselves a step ahead.

He further advised the students to be good followers first in order to become good leaders.
