Several areas in Kohima sealed to contain spread of Covid-19

Dimapur, Aug. 11 (EMN): The additional deputy commissioner of Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, has informed through a notification that several areas have been demarcated as sealed areas to contain the spread of the Covid-19 and for necessary contact tracing after positive cases were detected at locations namely Upper AG colony, Ward No. 15, Upper Agri. colony, Ward No. 17, Merhulietsa (Para Medical) colony, Ward No. 18 and Officer’s Hill colony, and Ward No. 1.

All movement of person and vehicles within the defined sealed area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with immediate effect, read the notice issued by the DIPR.

Demarcated areas

• House No. 127, Upper AG Colony, Ward No. 15
• One staff room of Hotel Eastgate
• House No. 28, Upper P.R. Hill Colony, Ward No. 19
• House No. MRH/D-42, below CMO Office Kohima, Merhulietsa (Para Medical) colony, Ward No. 18
• House No. 169, above Ao Baptist Church, Merhulietsa (Para Medical) colony, Ward No. 18
• House No. A-75, near CBZCC, Officer’s Hill Colony, Ward No. 10.
