Sensitisation on scholarship scheme held in Zunheboto

[caption id="attachment_266947" align="aligncenter" width="500"] School representatives along with the District Education Officer (DEO), Zunheboto, pose for a photograph during a one-day district-level sensitisation programme on scholarship scheme on August 20.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 21 (EMN): Office of the District Education Officer (DEO), Zunheboto, organised a one-day district-level sensitisation programme on scholarship scheme at ZTSBC conference hall, Zunheboto town, on August 20 with Jangsemba Jamir, UDA from the Directorate of School Education, Kohima, as the resource person. Altogether, 111 teachers from both private and government schools attended the programme. During the training, resource person shared important points on how to apply for pre-matric scholarship scheme for minorities, its conditions of eligibility and the procedures for students meritorious award from government schools. He also discussed about the objectives, conditions of eligibility and instructions for students and institutions for Nagaland government schools student meritorious award. The programme began with a welcome address from Sekhonulu Thingo, DEO Zunheboto, and a short introductory speech was delivered by Limadangit Jamir, Deputy Director/ State nodal officer. Nikuto Sumi, Dealing Assistant DEO Zunheboto, delivered the vote of thanks.
